The contest ‘Name the Mascots' is bought to you by Ginmit having its principal office at 21, Jalan Kemplas Lama 1, Kawasan Peindustrian Jalan Kempas Lama1, 81300 Johor Bahru and hosted via the official Ginmit address at www.ginmit-retail.com Ginmit is the only sponsor of this contest.
By entering into this Contest, the entrants (“Entrants”) agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions will apply to the “Name the Mascots'” contest (“Contest ”).
By entering the Contest, Entrants are deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions and any other information regarding prizes and how to enter including the Notification (defined below) and any Contest notices posted. This document will have priority over any inconsistent terms in any applicable Contest notice.
1. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest commences from 1st Oct – 15th Nov 2016.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 On the date of entry you must be at least 21 (twenty one), years of age to be eligible to enter the Contest.
2.2 Directors, management, officers and employees (and their immediate family: parents, children, siblings and spouses, and household members) of Ginmit, and their affiliated companies involved in the implementation and execution of the Contest are not eligible to participate.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 To enter the Contest, you must do the following during the Contest Period:
3.1.1 Go to http://ginmit-retail.com/announcements and find the latest Contest article.
3.1.2 Leave us your name, contact number & email address in the form at http://ginmit-retail.com/contact-us.
3.2 Entry information, including name and email, name of the social media account and any other information on are collectively referred to herein as “Entry” or “Entries”.
3.3 Entrants who complete the steps in paragraph 3.1 are entered into the Contest.
3.4 Entry to the Contest is restricted to Entrants who participate via http://ginmit-retail.com/contact-us
3.5 Entries must be received during the Contest Period.
3.6 Entrants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the Internet. These costs may vary so please check with your service provider for current charges. Entrants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering. If you are accessing the website via a cellular data network the cost of entry will vary depending on whether you have a contracted data package in place and the terms of that data package.
3.7 Subject to applicable laws and regulations, Ginmit reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this Contest should any computer virus, communications network failure, bug, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or other causes beyond the control of the Ginmit corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Contest . In the event of cancellation, Ginmit shall be entitled to award the Prizes from among all eligible, non-suspect Entries received prior to cancellation. Automated Entries are prohibited, and any use of automated devices, software or other methods will result in disqualification.
3.8 By submitting an Entry you are hereby and also must conform to the following additional requirements in Ginmit’s sole discretion:
3.8.1 Grant to Ginmit and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, copy, adapt, modify, transmit, broadcast, publish or delete any information or other material comprised in the Entry including without limitation, the Entrant’s name submitted in entering or any statement made by them concerning the Contest in any and all media as they, in their discretion, see fit. Such use will include, but not be limited to uploading the Entry to any website and/or social media channel owned by Ginmit.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS AND PRIZES
4.1 The Winners will be selected by a representative of Ginmit (the “Appointee”).
4.2 1 The Appointee will select and announce Entrants (defined as “Winners”) based on the submission of the online form.
4.3 The selected Winners will be notified that they have won a Prize via a direct email (“Notification”).
4.4 The Winners will be sent a Notification within 1 week of that day’s Contest closing. No communication will be made to participants who are not successful.
4.5 For the purposes of this Contest the “Prize” that the Winners shall be entitled to receive is: RM200 Ginmit cash voucher x 3.
Any other costs not specifically identified as included are the sole responsibility of the Winner.
4.6 The Ginmit and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage or delay in transit to the Prizes.
5. USE OF PRIZES
By accepting a Prize, the Winners acknowledges and agrees that:
5.1 The Winners’ Prize do not include anything other than prescribed above.
5.2 The Winners shall be responsible for any other applicable fees in order to use the Prize or associated services.
5.3 The Winners must gather the prize, at the very least, within 1 week from the day of announcement at the nearest showroom.
5.4 The Winners must use the prize, at the very least, within a period of 2 months from the day of winning.
5.5 The RM200 Ginmit Cash Voucher is transferable, but not exchange for cash.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS
6.1 If a winning Entry is deemed not to comply with the Terms and Conditions, the Entry will be discarded and a new winner of that Prize will be determined by Ginmit selecting a further valid Entry. Decisions as to whether Entries infringe these Terms and Conditions in any way shall be in the sole discretion of Ginmit. Submissions that do not comply in all material respects with the Terms and Conditions shall be disqualified.
6.2 Ginmit reserves the right to terminate the Contest and withhold the Prize(s) if, in Ginmit’s reasonable opinion, there are insufficient Entries or the Entries received are of insufficient quality for Ginmit to be able to select a Winner. Ginmit’s decision is final with respect to any aspect of the Contest, including the determination of any Winner. No correspondence will be entered into.
6.3 The validity of any Entry is subject to verification by Ginmit. Ginmit may require the Winners to provide proof of identity. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Ginmit’s discretion.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – GENERAL
Ginmit, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, bodily injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Contest or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY – CONTEST OPERATION
Ginmit is not liable for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected Entries, claims or correspondence due to error, omission, tampering, deletion, theft, and communications failure or otherwise. Ginmit has no control over communications networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. Ginmit is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
9. DISQUALIFICATION
Ginmit may, in its sole discretion, disqualify any Entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the Entry process or with the operation of the Contest or acts in violation of the Terms and Conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent or effect of annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing any other person. Ginmit may in its absolute discretion cancel a Prize or otherwise cease to provide any benefit of a Prize to a Winner if the Winner behaves in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of Ginmit or any of its related bodies corporate or the agencies or companies associated with this Contest, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate.
10. MODIFICATION
If for any reason any aspect of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Ginmit, subject to applicable laws and regulations, Ginmit may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, or invalidate any affected Entries. In the event of such an occurrence the Ginmit may post a notice on the website at www.ginmit-retail.com
11. ACCEPTANCE AND SUBSTITUTION OF PRIZES
The Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. The Ginmit accepts no responsibility for any variation in Prize value. If a Prize is unavailable for any reason, Ginmit may substitute that Prize for another item of equal or higher value as determined by Ginmit, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities in each state and territory if required.
12. TAXES
Ginmit is not liable for any tax implications arising from the Prize or Contest. The Winner will be solely responsible for any and all applicable taxes and any other costs, expenses and fees, in connection with their participation in the Contest and acceptance of any prize.
13. PUBLICITY
The Winners shall, at Ginmit’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of any Prize, free of charge. By entering the Contest, you grant permission for Ginmit and its designees to use your name, address (town/city), photograph, voice for advertising, trade and promotional purposes in any and all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation, notification or permission.
14. PERSONAL INFORMATION
By completing and submitting the information requested for participation in the Contest, Entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for the purposes of this Contest. Ginmit may disclose Entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Contest or communicating with Entrants. If an Entrant has so elected, Entrants consent to the storage of their personal information on Ginmit’s database and Ginmit may use this information for future Contest and marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant via electronic messaging.
